1. Start by Gently Blotting Stain

Before proceeding with any other step, always start by blotting the stain with a dry, clean cloth. This will help to remove any excess toothpaste that has already dried and help you identify the size of the stain.

2. Prepare a Mixture of Detergent and Water

Mix equal parts detergent and warm water in a bowl. Stir the mixture until it forms a thick foam. Dip a clean cloth into the foam and gently scrub stained area of the fabric.

3. Rinse the Fabric with Clean Water

Once you have finished scrubbing the fabric with the detergent foam, rinse it with clean water. Use a damp cloth to wipe away any remaining detergent residue.

4. Spot Treat with White Vinegar

If there is still some residue remaining from toothpaste, try spot treating the area with white vinegar. Apply a few drops of vinegar onto a cloth and dab the stained area. Be sure to avoid rubbing the fabric, as this might spread stain.

5. Let the Fabric Air Dry

Allow the fabric to air dry. Do not use a hairdryer, as this could cause fabric to shrink.

6. Check the Cleaned Area

Once the fabric has completely dried, you can check the area to see if the stain is still present. If it is, repeat the above steps until the stain is removed.
