Removing Stain
- At the very least, use a soft, damp cloth to remove as much of the toothpaste as possible. Make sure to only use a damp cloth and not a wet one, as too much moisture could damage the shoe.
- Mix a solution of warm water, baking soda, and dish soap. The baking soda helps to absorb the stain, while the dish soap helps to break it down. Dip your cloth in the solution and use it to gently scrub at the stain.
- Once the majority of the stain has been removed, rinse area of the shoe with warm water.
- Use a clean, dry cloth to completely dry the area.
Preventing Future Stains
In order to reduce the chance of future toothpaste stains, it’s important to take proper care of your shoes. Here are a few tips:
- Always remove any dirt or debris from your shoes before putting them away.
