Gather Your Supplies

You'll need a few supplies to remove toothpaste stains from muslin:

  • Dish detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Soft-bristle toothbrush
  • Soft cloth
  • Clean water

Removing Toothpaste Stains from Muslin

First, start by mixing together one teaspoon of dish detergent and two teaspoons of white vinegar with warm water. Soak the muslin fabric in this solution for five to ten minutes, then swish the fabric around gently.

Once it has soaked, use the soft-bristle toothbrush to gently scrub the stained area, then rinse the fabric and squeeze out the excess liquid. Repeat the process if necessary, being careful not to scrub too hard.

After you're done scrubbing and rinsing, lay the fabric flat on a clean towel and allow it to air dry. Once it's completely dry, you should be able to see if all the stains have been removed from the muslin fabric.
