Gather Supplies

Before you begin, gather some supplies to help you with cleaning your mesh fabric. You will need:

  • A spray bottle
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Microfiber cloth

Spray the Stain

Fill the spray bottle with diluted vinegar and spray the stained area liberally. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before proceeding with the cleaning.

Scrub the Stain

Once the vinegar has had time to soak in and loosen stain, sprinkle some baking soda over the area and scrub the stain gently with a microfiber cloth. Be sure to rub gently, as scrubbing too hard could damage the mesh.

Rinse Stain

Once the stain is gone, rinse the area with warm water and a small amount of mild detergent. This will help remove any traces of the baking soda and vinegar mixture.

For Tough Stains…

If the stain is still present after scrubbing and rinsing, mix one part dish soap to two parts hydrogen peroxide and apply to stained area. Let the mixture sit for fifteen minutes before wiping away. If the stain is still present, repeat the process until the stain is gone.
