How to Remove Toothpaste Stains from Linen Fabrics
- Gently brush off any remaining toothpaste particles from the surface of the fabric.
- Mix together a solution of 1 part white vinegar in 4 parts warm water.
- Dip a clean cloth in the mixture, and blot the stain evenly with the cloth.
- Continue to blot until all of the stain has been blotted out.
- Rinse the area with cold water, then use a damp cloth to blot away any residual vinegar.
- Leave fabric to air dry completely before using again.
Tips & Warnings
- To prevent the stain from setting, act quickly as soon as you notice it.
- Be sure to test the fabric for colorfastness before using any cleaning solution on it.
- Always check the care label on the fabric before using any cleaning solution.
- Do not use bleach or other harsh chemical cleaners as they may damage the fabric.
