Sometimes those white stains from toothpaste can be hard to remove. But the good news is that you don't need harsh chemicals to get rid of the toothpaste. You can easily clean it away with some common items in your home or even products meant for cleaning jewelry.
Makeup remover wipes are great for removing toothpaste stains from jewelry. Just take one of the wipes and rub it gently over affected area until the stain is gone. You can also use a cotton swab or cotton ball dipped in a bit of makeup remover for extra cleaning power.
For tougher toothpaste stains, try soaking your jewelry in vinegar. Simply fill a bowl with white vinegar and put the jewelry in the bowl. Let it soak for up to an hour before removing and wiping the jewelry down with a clean cloth. The stain should come right off.
Another way to remove toothpaste stains from jewelry is to make a paste with baking soda and water. Mix together a tablespoon of baking soda with a few drops of water, and then apply the paste to the toothpaste-stained jewelry. Scrub paste gently into the jewelry with a soft toothbrush, and then rinse off with warm water. The toothpaste should come right off.
If all else fails, you can always use a jewelry cleaner (like this one from Amazon) to clean toothpaste stain from your jewelry. Simply follow the instructions on the cleaner, and the toothpaste should come right off.
Toothpaste stains on jewelry can be annoying, but they are also easy to remove with a few simple tricks. Whether you use makeup remover wipes, vinegar, baking soda, or jewelry cleaner, you can quickly and easily get rid of those pesky toothpaste stains.
