Step 1: Gently Brush Away Excess Toothpaste

The first step is to brush away any excess toothpaste from the surface of your hat with a soft bristled brush, like a toothbrush. Make sure to use gentle, circular motions so as to not damage the fabric of your hat.

Step 2: Dab at the Stain with a Damp Cloth

Take a damp cloth and gently dab at the stain. Don't rub or scrub, as this could cause further damage to material. You may want to use a mild cleaning solution if the stain doesn't come away with just the damp cloth.

Step 3: Rinse Area with Cold Water

Once the stain has been removed, take a fresh damp cloth and rinse the area with cold water. Make sure to repeat this multiple times as necessary until the cleaning solution used in step two has been removed. Once finished, allow the area to dry naturally.
