If the toothpaste stain is still wet, grab a clean cloth and dab the affected area gently. This will help to absorb the liquid toothpaste so that it doesn’t spread and get further into the fabric. Make sure to use a dry cloth as wet cloths can potentially make the stain worse.
Once the majority of the liquid toothpaste has been absorbed by the clean cloth, use a spoon or a blunt knife handle to gently scrape off the last parts of the stain. This should be done carefully so as to not damage the fabric.
Fill a bowl with hot water and add a small amount of laundry detergent. Soak affected area of the Hanbok in the mixture for 15 minutes. This will help to break down the stain and make it easier to remove.
After 15 minutes, remove the Hanbok from the hot water and use a soft sponge to gently scrub the stain. The combination of the hot water and the detergent should help to breakdown the toothpaste so that it can be removed more easily.
If the stain is still visible, repeat steps 1-4 as necessary. Once you are satisfied with the results, lay the Hanbok out flat and let it air dry. Avoid using a dryer as this could potentially set the stain, leaving it impossible to remove.
