You’ll need a few items from your laundry room in order to effectively remove the toothpaste stains. Make sure you have the following supplies:
Before washing gloves, it’s important to pre-treat the stained areas. Start by wetting the stains with water and then adding a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Then use your scrub brush to work the soap into the fabric. Allow the soapy mixture to sit on the gloves for at least 15 minutes before proceeding to the next step.
Once the pre-treatment has set, place the gloves in the washing machine. Use hottest water temperature available and add a capful of laundering detergent. If necessary, use a bit of bleach for extra stain removal. After the cycle finishes, remove the gloves from the machine and examine them for any remaining stains.
If stubborn stains remain on gloves, spray them with stain remover and then let them sit for 15 minutes. After the stain remover has done its job, wash the gloves again in the washing machine. Your gloves should be good as new once the cycle is complete.
