Toothpaste stains can be a real nuisance, especially on the delicate rubber of flip flops. But with the right knowledge and a few household ingredients (which you probably already have on hand!), you can easily remove the unsightly marks without damaging your shoes.

What You'll Need

  • Baking Soda
  • Lemon
  • White Vinegar
  • Soft Cloth
  • Toothbrush

Instructions

  1. Mix baking soda and lemon juice into a paste.
  2. Apply the paste onto the stained area and let it sit for up to 20 minutes.
  3. Gently scrub the stain with a toothbrush.
  4. Rinse off the paste with warm water and pat dry with a soft cloth.
  5. If any stain remains, mix white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio) and apply it on the stain. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove the vinegar mixture with a soft cloth and rinse once more. Then, let the flip flop air dry.

Conclusion

And there you have it! Follow these simple steps and your flip flops will be looking as good as new in no time. Good luck!
