- Clean, damp cloth
Steps to Remove Toothpaste Stains from Cotton Poplin
- Make sure that your fabric is dry before you begin.
- Using a soft cloth or sponge, dab the stained area with a mild detergent or liquid laundry detergent.
- Rinse the detergent from the fabric.
- Mix together equal parts of white vinegar and warm water in a bowl.
- Pour the mixture over the stained area, making sure to cover the entire area.
- Let it sit for 5 minutes, then rinse with cool water.
- If the stain is still visible, make a paste using baking soda and water and apply to the stained area.
- Let the paste sit on the stain for 15 minutes.
