Carefully blot the stained area on your cotton oxford fabric with the clean white cloth. Apply firm pressure with the cloth to help remove any excess toothpaste. Do not rub the stain as this could spread it further.
Mix one teaspoon of mild laundry detergent into a cup of warm water. Gently dab mixture onto the stained area with your clean white cloth. Do not rub the stain as this could spread it further.
Add one teaspoon of ammonia to a spray bottle filled with lukewarm water. Shake the bottle to mix the contents. Lightly spritz the stained area with solution and allow to sit for five minutes.
Rinse the stained area with a damp cloth. Place the fabric in the washing machine and wash on a gentle cycle with warm water and mild laundry detergent. If the stain persists, repeat steps two through four.
If the stain still remains after washing, mix one cup of white vinegar and one cup of water in a spray bottle. Spritz the stained area and let it sit for five minutes before rinsing with a damp cloth. Repeat if necessary.
Hang your cotton oxford fabric outdoors or indoors to dry. If drying indoors, keep away from direct heat sources.
