Step 1: Blot Up Excess Stain

Using a paper towel or a piece of cloth, blot the stained area to absorb excess toothpaste.

Step 2: Pre-Treat

Mix together a pre-treatment solution of 1 tablespoon of liquid detergent and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar in 1 cup of warm water. Apply it on the stained area and let it sit for 10 minutes.

Step 3: Rinse & Wash

Rinse the pre-treated spot with cold water and then wash clothing item in the washing machine. To get rid of any remaining stain, you may use warm water and color-safe bleach if safe for the material.

Step 4: Dry & Check

Dry the fabric and check for any remaining stain. If needed, repeat steps 2 and 3.
