Soap & Water

This might be the easiest method for removing fresh toothpaste stains from your Chico's garments – simply wash them with detergent, as usual, and add a few drops of white vinegar for extra cleaning power. This solution is ideal for items made from light, natural fabrics, such as cotton, linen, and silk.

Baking Soda

For tougher stains, you can use baking soda. Simply mix one teaspoon of baking soda with two teaspoons of cold water in a bowl, then apply paste directly to the stained area of the garment. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes, then rinse it away with cold water. Once the paste is gone, launder the clothing item as usual. This method works best on polyester and acrylic fabrics.

Dish Soap & Hydrogen Peroxide

If the stain isn’t budging with previous methods, mix one teaspoon of dish soap (like Dawn® or Palmolive®, for example) with one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide. Then, use a soft-bristled scrub brush to scrub the stain in a circular motion. Once the stain has faded, launder clothing item as normal. This method works great on most fabrics, including wool, spandex, and nylon.
