It's inevitable that at some point you'll end up having to remove toothpaste stains from your cashmere. Thankfully, process is quick and easy with the right materials and techniques. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to get those pesky stains out and restore your cashmere back to its original beauty.
The first step is to mix up a stain remover solution. To do this, simply combine a few drops of mild liquid detergent, such as Woolite, with a small amount of cold water in a small bowl or cup. Make sure the mixture isn't too strong, as it might damage the fabric.
Once the solution is ready, you'll need to apply it to toothpaste stain on the cashmere to loosen the stains. Dip a clean, white cloth into solution and dab it directly onto the stained area. Then, gently rub the cloth on the stain in a circular motion. This will help to ease the stain and make it easier to remove.
After you have applied solution, rinse the cashmere by running cold water over the spot for a few minutes. Finally, lay the garment flat on a towel and allow it to dry completely. Do not iron cashmere until it is completely dry.
