If your camisole has already been through the washing machine and the stain persists, you’ll need to use a laundry pre-treatment. Start by dabbing a spot of liquid detergent on the stain, then let it sit for a few minutes. After a few minutes, take a clean damp cloth and blot away the detergent and stain. Make sure to press gently, as rubbing can cause damage.

Another way to tackle stubborn toothpaste stains is to mix together 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water. Soak a cotton ball or pad in the solution and blot the stain. Once you have blotted as much of the stain away as possible, rinse area with clear cool water and allow the garment to air dry. If there is still some stain left, you can try dabbing a bit of hydrogen peroxide onto area and letting it sit for a minute before rinsing again.

Finally, if the stain still remains after treatments above, you can try putting a bit of rubbing alcohol on some cotton wool and lightly dabbing stain until it disappears. Be sure to test the fabric for colorfastness first by attempting this on an inconspicuous area of the garment.

By following these simple steps, you can learn how to clean toothpaste stains from your camisoles easily and quickly so you can enjoy wearing them again.
