- A white cloth
- Distilled white vinegar
- Baking soda
- Rubbing alcohol
- Cold water
- An old toothbrush
- Dry cleaning solvents (optional)
Cleaning the Stain
Follow these easy steps to get rid of that pesky toothpaste stain:
- Begin by dabbing at the stained area with a damp cloth. Dab gently to avoid spreading the toothpaste further.
- If the stain is still visible, make a paste using one teaspoon of baking soda and two teaspoons of cold water. Rub the paste onto the stained area and let sit for five minutes.
- Use an old toothbrush to scrub the paste into the stain. Rinse the area with cold water after scrubbing.
- If the stain is still present, mix one tablespoon of distilled white vinegar with two cups of cold water. Use the mixture to dampen the stained area and scrub with an old toothbrush.
- Rinse the area thoroughly with cold water. If the stain persists, use rubbing alcohol on the area and let it sit for five minutes. Then, rinse with cold water.
- If stain is still not gone, saturate the area with dry cleaning solvents. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then rinse with cold water.

- Always pre-treat any stains with a gentle detergent before attempting to clean them.
- Read the care instructions on the garment before attempting to clean it.
- Always test any cleaning solutions on an inconspicuous area before applying to the entire garment.
- Use a lint roller to clean up lint or dirt on the blazer.
