- Mild detergent
- Lukewarm water
- White vinegar
- Soft brush or cloth
Instructions
- Start by mixing ¼ teaspoon of mild detergent with a cup of lukewarm water.
- Immerse the affected area of the Battenberg lace in this solution for about 10 minutes.
- After removing lace from the solution, rinse it with cold water.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of white vinegar with 2 cups of warm water.
- Soak the stained area in the vinegar and water solution for about 30 minutes.
- Gently scrub the affected area with a soft brush or cloth to dislodge any remaining particles of toothpaste.
- Rinse the Battenberg lace with cold water to remove all traces of vinegar.
- Lay the lace flat on a towel and let it air dry.
