Start by rinsing stain in cold water as soon as possible. This will help to prevent the stain from setting into fabric. Allow the bandana to soak in the cold water for a few minutes before removing it.
Mix equal parts baking soda and hydrogen peroxide together to form a thick paste. Apply paste directly onto stain and let it sit for about an hour.
Rinse off paste and place the bandana in the washing machine. Use warm water and an enzyme-based detergent to get rid of any remaining stain. Wash on a gentle cycle and air dry.
Once the bandana is dry, check the fabric for any residual stain. If necessary, repeat steps 2-4 until all of the stains have been removed.
Removing toothpaste stains from your bandana doesn't have to be a difficult process. Just follow easy steps outlined above and you'll have your bandana looking as good as new in no time.
