It’s important to act fast when dealing with toothpaste stains. As soon as you notice the stain, grab a cloth or paper towel and blot the affected area.
Once you’ve blotted away as much of the toothpaste as possible, you’ll want to rinse the area with cold water. Make sure to use cold water only, as hot water can set the stain.
Use a stain remover specifically designed for fabrics. Test stain remover on a small, inconspicuous area of fabric before applying it directly to stained area. Allow the stain remover to sit for a few minutes before rinsing the area with cold water.
Once stain remover has done its job, you can wash the material in cold water. Air dry the material after washing. Do not put it in dryer, as this can set the stain.
If the stain persists, repeat Steps 2-4. It may take several attempts to get the stain out, but eventually you should be able to get your anorak looking its best.
