Step 1: Blot The Stain

Start by using a clean towel to blot tomato stain as best you can. Don't rub or spread it, as this will make it worse.

Mix equal parts of white vinegar and cold water in a bowl. If the stain is large, use a ratio of one part vinegar to two parts water.

Step 3: Soak The Stain

Using a clean cloth, soak up the vinegar solution and dab it onto the tomato stain. Allow it to sit for 10-20 minutes.

Step 4: Rinse With Cold Water

Rinse the area with cold water and pat dry. If the stain remains, move on to step 5.

Step 5: Use A Dry Cleaning Solution

Use a cotton swab or toothbrush to gently rub a dry cleaning solution into the tomato stain. Allow it to sit for 10-20 minutes, then rinse with cold water.

Step 6: Blot Dry

Once the tomato stain has been removed, allow area to air dry until it is completely dry.
