The first step in removing tomato stains from vans is to remove any excess food. Grab a damp cloth or paper towel and use it to gently blot at tomato stain, taking care not to rub the stain too hard. Blotting the stain should help lift some of the excess tomato off your vans.
Once you've removed any excess tomato, create a cleaning solution for your vans. Combine a small amount of detergent with some warm water and mix until combined. Take a clean cloth and dip it into the solution, then use it to gently dab the tomato stain.
If the stain is still visible after the initial cleaning, repeat steps two and three. However, apply less detergent and make sure to rinse your vans off with fresh water after each cleaning. This will help get rid of any excess detergent on your vans.
Once you've cleaned the tomato stain off your vans, allow them to air dry. Don't put them in the dryer, as this could cause heat damage to shoe material. Instead, leave your vans out to dry naturally and you should be good to go.
