- First, scrape off any excess tomato sauce or ketchup with a spoon or butter knife.
- Next, mix together 1 teaspoon of liquid dish soap, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, and 2 cups of warm water. Soak a clean rag in the mixture and rub it over the stained area.
- Then, take a clean, dry cloth and dab the area to absorb any remaining liquid.
- If there are still traces of stain, try using a mixture of one part rubbing alcohol to one part water and dab the area with a cotton swab. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing with warm water.
