Step 1: Scrape off Excess Tomato

The first step is to scrape off any excess tomato bits or liquids. You can do this by lightly pressing a spoon or butter knife against the stained area. Be sure not to press too hard, as this could damage the fabric.

Step 2: Soak in Cold Water

Once you've scraped off excess tomato, fill a shallow bowl with cold water and add a few drops of liquid dish soap. Place the stained top into the bowl, and let it soak for about 10 minutes.

Step 3: Apply Stain Remover

After the shirt has soaked for 10 minutes, take it out and dab the stained area with a stain-removal spray or paste. Work product into the stained area with a soft-bristled brush or a clean cloth.

Step 4: Rinse and Launder

After the stain remover has been applied, rinse the top with cold water until all residue has been removed. Then, launder the top as you normally would. For best results, use an enzyme-based powder detergent like Tide.

And That's It!

With just a few simple steps, you can quickly and easily say goodbye to tomato stains on your tops. And you won't have to worry about any pesky stains coming back anytime soon!
