    • Be sure to use white vinegar - not apple cider vinegar.
  2. Apply the paste directly to the stain.
    • Gently rub the paste into the stain.
    • Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Prepare a solution of gentle laundry detergent and oxygen bleach in lukewarm water.
    • Follow directions on bottle for ratios.
  4. Soak the thong in the detergent solution for 30 minutes.
  5. Rinse the thong in cold water.
    • Be sure to rinse all detergent residue off of the thong.
  6. Lay the thong out on a towel and allow it to air dry.
