tomato Removing tomato stains from your t-shirts doesn't have to be hard. Here are a few materials you will need to get the job done:
  • Clean towel
  • White vinegar
  • Salt
  • Cotton ball
  • Mild detergent or dish soap

Instructions

  1. Blot any excess tomato juice using a clean towel.
  2. Mix 2 teaspoons of white vinegar with 1 teaspoon of salt in a bowl. Stir until the salt dissolves.
  3. Using a cotton ball, dab the solution onto stain.
  4. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  5. Rinse the shirt with cold water.
  6. If stain is still there, mix 1 teaspoon of detergent or dish soap with 2 cups of cold water in a sink or bowl. Soak the shirt for 30 minutes.
  7. Rinse the garment again with cold water.
  8. Allow shirt to air dry.

Tips

  • Treat the stain as soon as possible as older stains may be harder to remove.
  • Regular laundry detergent is not recommended as it may set the stain.
