Removing tomato stains from your t-shirts doesn't have to be hard. Here are a few materials you will need to get the job done: - Clean towel
- White vinegar
- Salt
- Cotton ball
- Mild detergent or dish soap
Instructions
- Blot any excess tomato juice using a clean towel.
- Mix 2 teaspoons of white vinegar with 1 teaspoon of salt in a bowl. Stir until the salt dissolves.
- Using a cotton ball, dab the solution onto stain.
- Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Rinse the shirt with cold water.
- If stain is still there, mix 1 teaspoon of detergent or dish soap with 2 cups of cold water in a sink or bowl. Soak the shirt for 30 minutes.
- Rinse the garment again with cold water.
- Allow shirt to air dry.
Tips
- Treat the stain as soon as possible as older stains may be harder to remove.
- Regular laundry detergent is not recommended as it may set the stain.
