Spilled something on your swimwear? Tomato stains can be especially hard to remove, but with a few simple steps – and minimal effort – you can get them out in no time. Here's what you need to do:

  • First, rinse the fabric immediately in cold water. This will help prevent the stain from setting into the fiber.
  • Rub a soapy solution onto the area with a soft brush. Use a gentle detergent for delicate fabrics.
  • Rinse fabric again with cold water and repeat if necessary.
  • If the stain persists, mix rubbing alcohol and water in a bowl until you reach a solution with a 1:2 ratio. Dip a dry cloth into the mixture and rub it directly onto the spot until the stain is gone.
  • Once stain is no longer visible, rinse the fabric with cold water.
  • Then, use a cloth soaked in vinegar and water to help remove any remaining residue.
  • Finally, allow the fabric to air dry.

And there you have it – tomato stains gone in a snap! With these cleaning tips, you'll be able to keep your swimwear looking bright and beautiful all summer long.
