  • White vinegar
  • A towel or cloth

Instructions:

  1. Start by soaking the stained area with cold water to rinse off as much of tomato sauce as possible.
  2. Apply a small amount of dish soap or enzymatic liquid laundry detergent directly onto the stained area.
  3. Let sit for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Rinse off the soap using cold water.
  5. If the stain persists, mix equal parts white vinegar and water and pour it onto the affected area.
  6. Gently rub the vinegar and water solution into the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  7. Rinse off with cold water.
  8. Use a towel or cloth to pat the sweater dry.
  9. Repeat steps if needed.
