Debris from your favorite tomato dish can end up on Superga Shoes and cleaning it off can be difficult - however, it is possible! To get rid of those pesky tomato stains, we’ve put together this step-by-step guide so you don’t have to worry about unsightly splotches any more.
Start by removing any excess tomato debris from the shoe. Use a soft brush or cloth to scrub away the stain gently. If the stain has already dried on, you can use a little bit of vinegar to help loosen it up. Once it’s loosened, you can scrape the tomato off the shoe with a butter knife.
Use a clean, dry cloth and blot the affected area. Make sure to use gentle pressure and work from the outside of the stain towards the center. This will help lift the stain out without spreading it further.
Spray stain and surrounding area with a stain remover, such as Ecover’s Natural Stain Remover or another similar product. This will help break down the stain and make it easier to lift from the shoe.
Using a damp cloth, gently rinse area with warm water. Make sure to keep the cloth damp – not too wet and not too dry. This will help remove any residual stain remover or tomato debris that may be left behind.
After rinsing, let the area air dry. You can also use a blow dryer set to cool to speed up the process.
Once all tomato debris is gone, you can launder your shoes according to the manufacturer's instructions. This final step will help ensure that your Supergas look like new and stay looking their best for longer.
With these simple steps, you can get your Supergas looking clean and free of tomato stains. No more worrying about unsightly splotches.
