Supplies You Will Need

  • A bowl of lukewarm water
  • A tablespoon of white vinegar
  • A bar of mild soap
  • Soft cloths or an old toothbrush

Step 1: Pre-Treat the Stain

Start by blotting the stained area as much as you can with a soft cloth. Make sure not to rub the stain in further, as this can cause it to spread and become harder to remove.

Step 2: Create the Cleaning Solution

In a bowl of lukewarm water, add one tablespoon of white vinegar. Then, add a small amount of mild soap and mix until you get a nice soapy solution.

Step 3: Apply the Solution

Using a soft cloth, apply the cleaning solution to the stained area. Gently rub the cloth over the stain in a circular motion. Allow the solution to sit on the stain for 10 minutes.

Step 4: Rinse and Dry

Rinse the cleaning solution off your shoes with lukewarm water. Pat the area dry with a soft cloth, then leave the shoes to air-dry completely before wearing them.
