Dilute 2 tablespoons of white vinegar in 1 liter of cold water and soak the affected area for up to 30 minutes. This will help soften the stain and make it easier to remove.
Mix 2-3 tablespoons of mild liquid detergent with warm water and rub a small amount of mixture onto the affected area. Rinse with cool water.
Repeat steps one and two until tomato stains are completely gone. It may take several iterations to completely remove the stain, so don't give up if you don't see results right away.
Pat the stained area with a cotton cloth and let it dry completely in the sun or in a well-ventilated place.
