What You’ll Need

  • Cold water
  • Borax or baking soda
  • White vinegar
  • Dish soap
  • Toothbrush

Instructions

  1. Blot away any excess tomato liquid with a paper towel.
  2. Mix together one tablespoon of borax or baking soda with a cup of cold water.
  3. Apply the mixture to the stain and allow it to sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Using a toothbrush, scrub the stained area.
  5. Mix together half a cup of white vinegar and one teaspoon of dish soap with two cups of cold water.
  6. Pour the mixture onto the stained area and rub gently.
  7. Rinse the fabric under cold water.
  8. Put it in the washing machine on cold setting. If the stain still doesn’t come out, repeat the whole process before putting it through again.
