Step 1: Scrape off Excess Tomato

Before you begin cleaning the tomato stain, you want to get rid of any excess tomato bits that may be sticking to the fabric. To do this, take a dull knife and gently scrape away any solid pieces of tomato.

Step 2: Blot the Stain with Cold Water

Next, take a damp cloth and wet it with cold water. Then, use the cloth to blot the stained area in a gentle pressing motion. Do not rub the stain, as this can cause it to spread and make it harder to remove.

Step 3: Apply Mild Detergent

After you have blotted the stain with cold water, it is time to apply a mild detergent to the affected area. Take a clean cloth and dip it into a cup of warm water mixed with a small amount of detergent. Rub the cloth over the stain in a circular motion and then rinse out cloth and repeat until the stain is gone.

Step 4: Rinse with Cold Water

Once stain has been removed, it is important to rinse the fabric with cold water. This will help to remove any traces of detergent or residue from tomato stain.

Step 5: Allow to Air Dry

Finally, allow the fabric to air dry. Do not put it in the dryer, as this could cause the stain to set in and become permanent.

By following these five easy steps, you can easily remove tomato stains from your Peau de Soie fabric. Good luck!
