What You'll Need

  • A tablespoon of laundry detergent
  • A cup of warm water
  • A white cloth
  • A bowl

Cleaning Tomato Stains from Paul Smith

  1. Mix laundry detergent and warm water in the bowl until it forms a soapy solution.
  2. Soak the white cloth in the soapy solution and wring out any excess liquid.
  3. Gently dab the stained area with the cloth. Be sure not to rub too hard or scrub the stain–this could spread the tomato juice further or damage the fabric.
  4. Let the area dry and check to see if the stain is gone. If not, repeat steps 2 and 3 until the stain disappears.
