Step 1: Pre-treat the Stain
Start by dabbing stained area with a solution of warm water and liquid dishwashing detergent. Once you have done that, let it sit for about five to ten minutes.
Step 2: Rinse Panties
Using cold water, rinse stained area until all the soap is gone. Do not use hot water, as this could make the stain harder to remove.
Step 3: Apply a Stain Remover
If the stain is still visible after rinsing, apply either a commercial stain remover or a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water directly onto the stain. Once again, let it sit for five to ten minutes before proceeding to the next step.
Step 4: Wash Panties
Once the stain has been pretreated and/or treated with a stain remover, it's time to pop your panties into the washing machine. Wash them in cold water on the delicate cycle, along with other items that are also colored or delicate. Do not use fabric softener in this wash cycle.
Step 5: Dry the Panties
Once the washing is complete, transfer your panties to dryer. Again, set the dryer to a low or delicate setting since this is a delicate item. Remove panties from the dryer as soon as they are dry and put them away.
