Removing tomato stains from swimsuits can be easy, as long as you act quickly. The sooner you address the stain, the better the chances of success. Here's what you'll need:

  • Liquid laundry detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Soft-bristled scrub brush

First, make sure to rinse the tomato sauce off your swimsuit as soon as possible. Don't rub it or try to scrape it away. Just simply rinse the stain with cold water.

Once the stain has been rinsed, create a mixture of liquid laundry detergent and cold water. Soak affected area of the suit in the mixture for 30 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water again.

If the stain is still there, you can try soaking swimsuit in 1 part white vinegar and 4 parts cold water for at least an hour. You can also pre-treat the stain with a paste made from baking soda and cold water. Simply rub the paste onto the stain before rinsing with cold water.

After treating the stain with either vinegar or baking soda, use a soft-bristled brush to scrub the area gently. Be careful not to damage fabric, but give the area a good scrubbing.

Don't forget to wash swimsuit in cold water and air-dry it afterwards. For best results, use a gentle washing detergent. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the swimsuit fabric.

If the stain is still there, try repeating the process a few times until you get the desired result. With a bit of patience and the right technique, you can easily remove tomato stains from your onepiece swimsuit.
