It's easy to remove tomato stains from Nautica clothing with just a few simple steps and supplies. Here's what you will need:
- White vinegar
- Liquid laundry detergent
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Scrub brush (if necessary)
- Cold water
Once you have all your supplies, follow these steps to get those tomato stains out of your Nautica:
- As soon as possible, blot away any excess tomato juice with a clean cloth. Do not rub the stain, as this may spread it.
- Fill a bucket with cold water, then add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of liquid laundry detergent. Stir it up to make a soapy mixture.
- Submerge area of garment where tomato stain is and gently swirl it around for several minutes.
- If the stain persists, apply a small amount of hydrogen peroxide directly to stain. Allow it to sit for a few minutes, then rinse it off with cold water.
- For tougher stains, use a scrub brush to scrub the hydrogen peroxide into the fabric. Rinse it off with cold water afterwards.
- If necessary, repeat steps 3-5 until the tomato stain is completely gone.
- Once stain is gone, launder clothing item as normal.
