Start by blotting away any excess tomato residue from muslin fabric. Use a paper towel or soft cloth to absorb stain without spreading it out more.
Mix a few drops of detergent with some warm water, then pour the mixture over the stained area. Let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes before blotting it off.
Mix white vinegar and baking soda in equal parts to create a cleaning paste. Spread the paste over the stained area, then let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Blot off the cleaning paste when you’re done.
Rinse the stained area with cool water, then use a clean cloth to pat area dry. You can then check to see if the stain has been successfully removed.
