As soon as the stain appears, rinse it with cold water. This will help prevent stain from setting further into fabric.
After rinsing, try rubbing salt over the stain. This will draw out some of tomato juice and make it easier to remove the stain completely.
Once you’ve rubbed salt on the stain, apply a small amount of dish soap. Let it sit for about 15 minutes before rinsing area again with cold water.
Most people swear by using white vinegar to remove tomato stains. Mix one part vinegar with two parts water and make sure it’s thoroughly mixed. Dab the solution onto the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, rinse the garment with cold water.
Once all the steps are done, launder garment as you normally would. Air drying is recommended, as heat from a dryer could set the stain. If the stain is still visible, repeat steps above until it’s completely gone.
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
