How to Remove Tomato Stains from Your Keds

Nobody likes stained shoes, and tomato stains can be particularly hard to get out. But don't worry! With the right tools and instructions, you can easily remove tomato sauce stains from your Keds.

What You'll Need

  • Oxygen-based bleach
  • Clean cloth
  • Cold water

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle oxygen-based bleach directly onto the stain.
  2. Using a clean cloth, rub gently in a circular motion to help lift the stain.
  3. Rinse quickly with cold water.
  4. Pat dry with a cloth or towel.
  5. Allow fabric to air dry completely before putting the shoes back on.

Tips

  • Be sure to take off any excess food particles with a blunt knife before starting to clean the stain.
  • If the stain is particularly stubborn, repeat the steps above.
