Step 1: Soak the Joggers in Cold Water

For the best results, soak the joggers in cold water for about 30 minutes. This allows the tomato sauce to start to separate from the fabric. If possible, you may want to add some detergent to the water as this will make it easier to remove stain.

Step 2: Apply Detergent to Stain

Once the joggers have been soaked in cold water, apply some detergent directly to stain. Massage it into fabric with your fingers, making sure to work it into the fibers. You can also use a soft-bristled brush to really get into the fabric if needed.

Step 3: Rinse and Repeat

Rinse the joggers with cold water before repeating Steps 1 and 2 if needed. Depending on how stubborn stain is, you may need to repeat these steps a few times before it is completely gone.

Step 4: Air Dry or Machine Dry at Low Heat

Once stain has been removed, air dry or machine dry the joggers at low heat. Avoid using high heat as this can cause the stain to set in and become even more difficult to remove.
