Steps for Removing Tomato Stains from Hair Clips

  1. Start by rinsing clip under cold water. This will help to rinse away any excess tomato juices that may be stuck to clip.
  2. Then, create a paste by combining one part baking soda with two parts water. Use an old toothbrush to spread the paste over the tomato stain.
  3. Let the paste sit on the stain for 10 minutes. During this time, the baking soda will work to break down the tomato juice.
  4. After 10 minutes, use a soft cloth to scrub away the stain. If the stain is particularly tough, use a bit of white vinegar to help break down the residue.
  5. Finish by rinsing clip off with warm water and letting it air dry.

Additional Tips for Cleaning Hair Clips

  • If your hair clips are metal or plastic, avoid using harsh chemicals, as these could damage the material.
  • If the clip has a wooden handle, try using a bit of olive oil to help clean off the stain.
  • For tougher stains, you may need to repeat the cleaning process several times.
