Start by soaking stained area in a solution of warm water and delicate detergent. You may want to use a scrubbing brush to gently massage the detergent into the fabric. Allow the fabric to sit for several minutes, then rinse with cold water.
Fill a spray bottle with an equal parts mixture of lemon juice and water, then spritz the stained fabric. This will help to break down the tomato stain. Let fabric sit for a few minutes before rinsing with cold water.
After applying the lemon juice and water solution, lay the fabric out on a towel and blot it with another clean towel. Keep blotting until the fabric is only damp. Allow the fabric to air dry completely before moving onto the next step.
Once the fabric is dry, it's time to toss it in the washing machine. Use a gentle cycle and cold water, and make sure to use a delicate detergent. After cycle is complete, hang the fabric to dry, avoiding direct sunlight if possible.
Getting tomato stains out of guipure lace is possible with proper supplies and techniques. With a little bit of patience and the steps outlined above, you'll be sure to get your fabric looking as good as new. Good luck!
