Whether a tomato sauce spilled or a tomato slice dropped down your shirt, the results are often the same: a stubborn stain. Don’t despair! There are several methods to help with removing stains from gazar.

1. Dissolve the Stain

Dissolving the stain can help get rid of Tomato residue. Make a mixture with one cup of warm water, one tablespoon of liquid dish soap, and one teaspoon of white vinegar. Use a clean cloth to apply the mixture to the stain and let it sit for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, rinse the garment in cold water and allow to air or line dry.

2. Absorb Stain

A dry sponge or dish cloth can help absorb the stain. Place the cloth over the stain and press firmly. Lift up cloth and replace with a clean portion if needed. The cloth should help capture all of the Tomato residue until the stain is completely absorbed.

3. Wash with Baking Soda

Fill a sink with lukewarm water and add in ¼ cup of baking soda. Soak the garment with the Tomato stain in the water and let it sit for an hour or more. After an hour, take the garment out and rinse with cold water before laundering as usual.

4. Saturate the Stain with Detergent Solution

Take one teaspoon of laundry detergent and mix it with two cups of cool water. Use a clean cloth to saturate the stain with the detergent solution. Allow it to sit for about a half hour before laundering as usual.

5. Apply Glycerin

Glycerin can help lift out the stain. Put a few drops of glycerin on the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water and launder as normal.

6. Enzyme Detergent

Enzyme detergents are specifically made to remove stains. Follow the instructions on product and use it to launder the garment.

7. Vinegar Pre-Soak

To pre-soak the garment, mix a solution of one part vinegar and two parts cool water. Soak the garment in the mixture for at least 30 minutes before laundering as normal.

Conclusion

Removing Tomato stains from gazar fabric doesn't have to be a challenge. With a few simple products and steps, you can usually get out tough Tomato stains without having to resort to harsh chemical solutions.
