Step 1: Blot Stain

As soon as you notice the stain, use a cloth or paper towel to blot it up. This should absorb most of the tomato sauce.

Step 2: Pre-treat the Stain with Dish Soap

Mix a solution of 1 tablespoon of dish soap and 1 cup of water. Use a small brush or sponge to pre-treat the stained area with the solution. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes before moving on to the next step.

Step 3: Rinse with Cold Water

Rinse the stained area with cold water and use a cloth or sponge to gently scrub the stained area. Make sure to be gentle and not scrub too hard, as this could damage fabric.

Step 4: Soak in Cold Water

Fill a bowl with cold water and add 1/4 cup of white vinegar. Place the stained area into bowl and allow it to soak for 30 minutes.

Step 5: Wash Normally

Remove the stained area from the bowl and wash it with your regular detergent in the washing machine. Don’t forget to check item before wearing and make sure the stain is gone!
