What You Need
- A soft cloth
- Laundry detergent
- White distilled vinegar
Steps
- Wet cloth with warm water and wring it out before dabbing the area where tomato stain is located.
- Mix laundry detergent and white distilled vinegar together in a bowl and stir until it forms a paste.
- Apply the paste directly to the stain and gently scrub the area in a circular motion with a soft cloth.
- Rinse the area with lukewarm water and check to see if stain has faded.
- If the tomato stain is still present, apply the detergent paste to area and scrub gently again, this time for a longer period of time.
- Rinse the area once more with lukewarm water and allow the shoes to air dry.
Additional Tips
- Do not use hot water as it can set the stain in and make it harder to remove.
- Repeat the steps as necessary until the stain is gone.
- Avoid putting your Converse shoes in the washing machine as it can cause the fabric to shrink or fade.
