Materials Needed

  • Dish soap
  • Sponge
  • Non-abrasive scrubber
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Clean cloth

Instructions

  1. Start by wetting clog with warm water.
  2. Mix a solution of equal parts dish soap and white vinegar.
  3. Take the sponge and saturate it in the mixture. Use the sponge to gently scrub the affected area of the clog.
  4. If needed, use the non-abrasive scrubber for more difficult stains. Be sure not to use too much force to avoid damaging the clog.
  5. Once stains are removed, rinse the clog with clean water.
  6. If stain is still present, make a paste out of baking soda and water. Put the paste on stained area and allow it to sit for 1-2 hours. Use the clean cloth to wipe away the paste, then rinse the clog once again.
  7. Put the clog in direct sunlight for a few hours (3-4 hours). This will remove any remaining residue and help get rid of the stain.
