The first step is to pre-treat the stain as soon as possible. This involves spraying it with a stain remover or washing it with a pre-wash detergent.
In order to fully remove the tomato stain, fill a bucket or bowl with lukewarm water and add some laundry detergent. Submerge the bikini in the soapy water and let it soak for at least an hour.
After soaking, check to make sure the tomato stain has been removed. If not, repeat steps one and two. Once stain has been removed, place the bikini in a washing machine and wash it on a gentle cycle using cold water. Hang the bikini up to dry afterwards.
