What You Will Need:

  • White vinegar
  • Warm water
  • Soft cloth
  • Baking soda

Step One: Blot the Stains

Start by blotting away as much of excess liquid as possible with a soft cloth. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the stain as this may spread it further and make it more difficult to remove.

Step Two: Make a Vinegar Mixture

Mix together ½ cup of white vinegar and 1 cup of warm water in a bowl. Then, dip your cloth into the mixture and blot it onto the stain until it is saturated.

Step Three: Rinse the Area

Rinse the surface with plain warm water and dry it with a clean towel. Check to see if the stain is completely gone.

Step Four: Use Baking Soda

If the stain is still visible, make a paste with baking soda and water and apply it to stain. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes and then rinse it off with water. If the stain persists, repeat the process until it is gone.

Conclusion

Cleaning tomato stains off of acrylic surfaces doesn’t have to be a difficult task. With the right supplies and the steps outlined above, you can easily remove the stains and restore your acrylic surfaces to their former glory.
