It's never fun to get a tomato sauce stain on your favorite pair of yoga pants, especially when you've just made a purchase. But don't fret, as there are some simple steps that you can follow to try and remove it. Here are our top tips:

  1. Start by blotting up as much of the spill as you can. Use an absorbent cloth or paper towel, and press down gently to blot out excess liquid.
  2. Mix 1 cup of cold water with ¼ teaspoon of a gentle detergent in a bowl. Dip a clean cloth into mixture, and start dabbing at the tomato sauce stain.
  3. Be sure to keep the area damp while working. If the cloth starts to dry, dip it back into the mixture.
  4. Once all the tomato sauce has been removed, rinse the yoga pants with cold water.
  5. If any stains remain, mix together equal parts of white vinegar and cold water and spritz the affected area. Rub it in with a soft cloth and rinse again.
  6. Once all of the tomato sauce is gone, throw the yoga pants in the washing machine. Follow the washing instructions located on the tag. We recommend using a mild, cold-water cycle.

With these simple steps, you should be able to remove most tomato sauce stains from your yoga pants with ease. Washable items don't always have to be difficult to clean. Be sure to always use gentle cleaning solutions for best results.
